Running a 420cc predator in upright position

Of course you have to add extra oil so the dipper still flings the oil.
Adding extra oil is not an oiling issue!
Why only a 420 on a Morgan? 13 measly hp.
Use a 670 V twin.
Dan Orabona just built a 3 wheeler with a Harley motor.
A 92cc Frankenstein almost makes 17hp and its 328cc less than the 420cc. It seems one of those can be built for far less than Zeda sells them. A ms660 top end kit is $60 for a good one and a mikuni Vm18 is $65. I believe zeda charged $500 for a complete engine using the cheap cylinders. I want to build one eventually. I’ve heard about these Morgans but don’t really know what they look like or how big they are.

Keep in mind a 17hp 92cc is a whole different animal than a 17hp 420 (or even 212). At the RPM needed to make 17hp from 92ccs, it would be a real gutless wonder and nearly impossible to gear for normal use. There would be virtually no low end. In that case I would take a mild 10hp Predator 212 over a 17hp 92cc for anything more than a super light race only bicycle. I don't want an extra 10mph if it takes twice as long to get there :).

That motor in a light race bicycle would be sick. It would make a terrible motor for a heavy trike though!

Ya I figured it wouldn’t be the best for a trike build but then again those 2 strokes can rev to 10,000+rpm and there’s no valves. If I built a Frankenstein I’d definitely use a bike frame. I know you can get 50hp out of a 670 with the performance 670 parts though. Rocket do u have a pic of the trike itself? Also a stock 670 is about $700. It is probably cheaper to find a used vtwin of some short.

Sure thing. It's roughly 90" x 45" and 45" wide
