School Me On - The Boost Bottle

OK. Boost Bottle. BS or potential benefit?

I've read a bunch on the boost bottle. Most of what I've read says it's a bunch of BS... though some swear by it.

Since I already have a Boost Bottle "port" in the intake for 'Tang'... and since she 4-strokes pretty badly at low/mid range... I figured I'd give it a try to see if it "smooths out" the midrange as I've read some claim.

That said... I don't think i wanna spend $20.00 to test. I figure I'll probably make a Pepsi-Bottle version to test. If I notice any improvement, I'll consider the $20.00 bottle.

Anyone here use a boost bottle?
