Yea, that could be it. You'll need to find a replacement wheel with a disc brake rotor. Mine's a 26", but I think a 24" would look better.

The factory is a 24". Did you look very hard at the factory front wheel before you sent it to me? They have no cross over pattern, the spokes just go directly to the rim from the holes. I had never looked too hard at mine since it is on the list of parts to be replaced. I just noticed it the other day.

No I did not Gordy. I remember it had way too many spokes that were parallel. I think they were going for "the look" rather than lateral regidity.
