We have found that a mixture of heavy gear oil and stop leak works best. Use about half and half. It only takes about 3-4 ounces. You can pour it right down the hole on the top of the gear box where the engager lever extends. See the picture below. The stop leak bottle shows where to add.

You may notice some leakage from the gear box as the gasket wasn't designed for wet use. To eliminate that you can use a waterproof form-a-gasket or even some silicone.

The clutch will slip a little at first, but after a short time it will burn off any excess and should be smooth and chatter free. You can add more when the clutch starts to chatter again.
