Just buy what ever width & color of pin stripe tape you want & start experimenting.

If you dont clear coat over the pin stripes & dont like them, you can use a heat gun to remove the pin stripe tape easily. Then once once you got your paint scheme the way you like it, you then can clear coat over it if wanted to.

I’ve been watching painting videos trying to learn as much as I can. I am going to get a spray gun in the spring and play around with it.

Or I might just have someone powder coat the frame and paint the accents myself.

Did you put it on a MB? If you did can you post a pic of it on the bike?


Also, you can paint the frame what color pin stripe you want, lay down some pin stripe tape, and paint your main color, then go back while it's still wet and pull the tape.

Also what paint did you use on that? I used some metallic flake testors model spray cans to paint my ct90. It came out beautiful.

I don’t think they make the paint anymore. They only have a few colors available and it’s like $30 a can.

Here’s a picture of the whole bike. I have made some minor changes since then. Bigger headlight, brake light, turn signals, horn.

Maybe yellow and blue like diesel tech said.

That will make your bike look like A Brit police vehicle...lol...lol.

A deep maroon metalic looks cool too...I had one of my Caddy's painted in that colour years ago...lol.

That’s in the running. Probably at the top. The paint is expensive tho!
