Seriously considering a Phatmoto

Could you send a link? I have only found one using the original jack shaft on the bike frame with belt pulley on there. This only eliminates one chain from vibrating.
He attached the CVT to the original seat post jackshaft, which you don't want to use (understandably lol).

@Wyvern swapped a 224 predator into his and got rid of the seatpost jackshaft

Can't knock what Issac has done. He does good work. I want to use torque converter as a bolt together without too many custom modifications so folks don't need a machine shop to build one.

Thanks

I was wrong it was Isaac

Looks like I will be doing something like Isaac. The torque converter plate needs the drive sprocket on the opposite side of the mounting plate. It will not align properly. So unless someone comes up with a torque converter plate as I described, it ain't gonna fly.

@Wyvern ground down the back of his.

I will try to use the parts from the torque converter kit on the jack shaft.
Would not recommend.

You can install the whole assembly without hacking up the T/C plate. Reinforcing the engine to the frame and not using the frame's seat tube makes for a pretty smooth ride.

Using the frame's jackshaft tube will cause quite concerning frame flex and occelations that will eventually cause structural failure.

If you insist on using the seat tube, don't use anything other than stock power and gear it very low (high gear reduction).

Could not find any info on using the stock converter plate. Engine would have to be mounted at a unusually off side and up angle to clear converter plate/seat tube. I'm using the same setup as Isaac only I'm using parts from the torque converter kit, jack shaft, bearings, and pulleys.
I don't think Isaac has broken his yet but I don't really know. So far, the build is going very well. Maybe I should start a new thread to show how it's going together. Thanks.
