Cool stuff. I pulled the valve cover off my GX31 that runs over 16,000 rpm one day to show a freind of mine what it looks like at speed.To the naked eye it doesn't look like anything is really moving except that its out of focus.

Cool, I went to a link you did the other day on the dragster and from there watched a small block drag car that turns 12 grand- quite a sound.
Did you notice the valve springs rotating on the BMW?

That was very cool! I have seen cgi explanations of high speed valve operation, but to see it in real time is way better.
