Ok so I've shaved the head a bit and ended up increasing compression. I read somewhere that you can shave some of the exhaust port to increase top end performance?

Is this true? If so how do I go about this. I've already dremeled the intake manifold so it's the exact same size as the port. It was about 5mm larger, now it's nice and tight.

I use gasket maker on all the areas that need sealing so I know for sure there's no air leaks and such.

Let me know what you guys think

It's not shaving the exhaust port. It's porting the exhaust port. Making it larger. Around 24mms wide and raising it to where it is 4 to 5 mms higher than the transfers at the top. Measure to top of transfer, zero your caliper at that measurement, mark top of exhaust with marker, move caliper till it says -4mm and lock it there, Scrib a line in the marker with the caliper, Remove material to scribed line.
