i have a sbp shift kit and a 8 speed derailleur.
it has been running great up till about a week ago when it started grabing the chain when it was reved hard.
now it grabs hold of the chain and sort of jumps the derailleur .
i have changed the chain twice the wheel (gear cluster ).and had a good look at the deraileur .
has any body else had this trouble with there **** kit
i have a grubee gt-5 with expansion chamber ,ported ,programable cdi and seprate coil, and delorto copy carby .

Is the bicycle chain jumping off the front or rear sprockets, or is the engine chain jumping off its chainring sprocket?:geek:

how about the idler sprockets in the derailleur itself? they can get sticky...

is it the right chain and clearing the shifter cages properly?

You need to remove your chain and look for kinks and maybe upgrade to a $20 chain from bike shop.
Get a rear derailer tutorial off google utube and clean and adjust your derailer.
Clean everything and SBP also sells free wheel oil.

You know if your rear sprocket real dirty just take it to the car wash and power wash it. Its real important to get it clean.
Also remove you rear wheel and look for bent axle by spinning the axle by hand.
Give it a good look over.
