He doesn't seem to understand that a boost port negates the need for piston mods to allow the intake charge to enter the case.
Edit: why thin out the piston to get exhaust timing correct instead of modding the ports?

He must have meant intake side,you would not want to skirt the exh side.

Skirt the intake, and only enough to just clear the port at TDC (bolt down jug then scribe it at TDC before skirting).
