Shot some vid of my winter commute!

I wiped out twice just watching him ride on those snow covered roads

I'm a California - Hawaii (C&H) guy

I feel like I'm gonna slip and slide when I'm riding my M/C on wet roads.
BTW I don't go out riding when it's raining But I do get caught in the rain sometimes.

I ride M/C through the SOCAL mountains after it snows but the roads have been plowed and the sun is out and it's about 50*F out

I’ve gone from standard knobby mtb tires to the schwalbe winter tire with some studs to the schwalbe ice spiker pro, which is full of metal spikes.

I’ve had my only real crash just after getting the ice tires, when I was heading through the parking garage at work because those metal spikes get zero, and I mean z e r o grip on smooth concrete.
Otherwise, I’ve carefully built up to this. I ride the same route every day, and I’ve had lots of riding to get used to the handling and tires and whatnot. It’s taken some time to get the gearing and tires set up the way I like, but at this point, it’s like a motocross ride to work and back and I love it.

A nice walk around video of the bike would be cool. Can you squirt up some ice and snow into a rooster tail with those studs?

I haven’t tried, mostly because the tires:
1) were like $150 each
2) are making my daily ride so much better

But yeah I’m pretty sure it could roost ice chips.
