should i cut exhaust

hey i have an a80 motorised bike i was just wondering if i should cut down the pipe on the inside of the exhaust abit? will it make any peformance different or just louder? or should i extend it will that make a difference?

Cutting the pipe will give a marginal increase in power but quite a bit more noise.

My preference is to leave the pipe standard and install a silicon exhaust deflector to further reduce exhaust noise, then install a Rock Solid Engines Reed Valve Intake System, which noticeably boosts low and midrange torque, whilst significantly reducing intake (induction) noise.
