Work in progress....simplex frame with a homemade rear clip. Truck style box with tongue and groove. It's getting a whizzer engine

Tri-Pod, this electric trike was so much fun, street legal in California, only Ca. lic. required because of 3 wheels, I have rear wheels DOT.

Old Topic but cool 'drift trike'.
Come to think of it I don't think I posted the pics of my last trike build here yet and it's a dosey...
I call it the 'electric rocket sled' and it's built on a Sun EZ USX HD 21-speed recumbent.

A nearly 1KW battery mounted to the back of the seat, and a Sick Bike Parts 48V electric shift kit in the front, driving a power shifting dual disc brake 7-speed rear end.

Shoot...
This build stayed glued to the road at 30+ mph in a sharp turn and stops on a dime.
I've built a few 'electric adult trikes' but if you can get on and off something that low and want a thrill ride that's a good way to go ;-}
