Backkpressure may become a problem with using a larger sized diameter exhaust I am thinking...

well a piwee one would be perfect my friends pocketbike has an expansion chamber about the sixe of a baseball bat.

It certainly would be a lot cheaper than buying an expansion chamber from some cycle shop and fitting it. You could cut & weld it up to size. The inside diameter has to be the right size for the displacement, it's a mathematical equation.

I like this idea!
