I was looking for some kind of spring-loaded tensioner that wouldn't cost a fortune, and there's some beautiful yet expensive stuff out there.
Then I came across a youtube video of a simple design. The video was by a company that sells the design, but their site showed the parts are all out of stock.
No worries, because their design was basically the tensioner that came with my motor, plus a few easy-to-fabricate parts. Basically you add a lever and spring to the stock parts.
