I recently acquired a free engine. At a glance it looked like it belongs in the garbage. I didn't even check to see if it turned, it just hung out in the backseat of my car for a few days. Well I got a little bored and decided to tear it down. Found out it has a 17mm web crank and I believe it to be an old Skyhawk engine.

The amount of carbon buildup is disgusting, however the cylinder is very clean and has no bad scoring. Soaking it in some vinegar should clean it up good.

Now the plan?? Rebuild it, stuff the case, chainsaw piston, reed valve, and MZ65.

It will be going in this little bike...

And it will get some old butterfly bars, bmx wheels, and a banana seat. Just a fun low budget project.
