Hi, I wanted to share this great find. This aluminum tube fits over the 15mm straight shafts from eBay and Amazon like a glove! O.D. is 5/8" which most aftermarket parts come in. It should be super easy with strong scissors or tin snips to cut out the key way, too.

I found it at my local ace hardware, but it looks like Amazon has it

On that tubing wall don't you have to double the wall thickness X2 to get the accurate diameter? 5/8 x .016 [x2 = .032 + 5/8, .625 + .032 = .657in.

OD is 11/16"
no, OD is 5/8 as a fact.
Darwin, you have to subtract the wall to get the ID. You are correct about doubling the number though.

If you do so, you will find that the ID is adequately close to 15mm (15.068mm or 0.593”)
