Ok!

I've been reading in the forum for a while...

I've yet to start my first build. I'm somewhat mechanically inclined (some experience with bicycles and mopeds).

I want my first build for a place with high temps (tropics). the area has flats and lots of hills too.

I'm past my prime in climbing (WAS my fav when I was young anfd fit).

After reading lots, I'm kinda torn between frame or rack mount. I want to have hill climbing capability but not 15 mph.

I'm not sure if chain or belt would be best (rememer HOT temps in the tropics). I'm not even sure abour rack or in frame (though I like the in frame look).

Does anyone have experience in this type of situation (hot, humid, and hilly) that can give me some ideas?

I don't think I want a gear drive 'cause it rains often where I'm going to use my bike.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

welcome

if I may discuss one topic --- temps (hot)

I don't think there will be much difference between a 2-stroke or 4-stroke
regarding heat

wouldn't want to lug a 2-stroke down in very hot weather though
keep that oil flowing -- as you

ride that thing
