Another quick update. My son managed to ride it just over 32 miles yesterday afternoon. Considering we're not in a rural area, that's pretty impressive! I was watching him ride on the stalker app my wife makes him have on his phone (Life 360).
I've seen several videos on filing the key a bit on one side to be able to adjust the timing further. Not attempting that now but seems like an interesting idea.
Figured we'll wait till we get more miles on it, adjust the carb further, and then see. Right now max speed is about 20 mph. We're also not beating on it with the ~ 300 breakin miles. It does seem to require full throttle more than we hoped to get it going and stay above 15 mph. Maybe that's okay?
