Spark plug Wire and Boot

Hey all,

I recently upgraded to a different spark plug wire and boot. When I shortened the wire to suit, I didn't really like the inner composition (that's what I get for buying a cheap brand). Can anyone recommend an aftermarket wire they bought that they are happy with?

What was wrong with the "inner composition"? You can make your own plug wire from a "universal" kit from an auto parts store. The mm designation is what you are looking for, the higher the number the better....8mm 12mm ect.

The inner composition was black carbon "silk" wasn't it?

actually it was white "carbon silk" if that's what you want to call it. Just seems like it doesn't screw onto the CDI very sturdily (if that's even a word)...
