Anyone have a spare speed controller?

when hooking up my new batteries managed to fry mine. . .

Yeah I saw that one to, it is unfortunately for a
"Brushed" motor, the hub I have is brushless.
I emailed that guy . . .

but after further investigation on my wiring
I found that the brand new fuse I put in was
actually bad so I am back up and running . . .

I'm sure I will be corrected, but I thought the extra gumph on a brushless controller was to allow for a standing start. Would a brushed controller work if the motor was already turning? If not, blame the incohol, alcohop, you get the idea.....
