speed for the 50cc

i agree...i keep clicking "buy it" for a 36 tooth, but then i realize actual top-end isn't as important to me as performance "as is"...so a new plug, wire, and boot is next 8)

44t is really meant for 48cc motors and the chineese 80cc be ideal for 48t

at the end of the day the 80cc don't go any fater than the 48cc but has more torque for hills than the 48cc.

secret really is on the gearing of the motor......

48cc at 2500ft altitude on a slight downhill and I got a max speed of 37mph, level is 35mph over a 1mile stretch. I cruise at about 27 (don't tell the cops  ), when it just starts vibrating noticeably (at least more noticeable than at idle).

Are all the 48cc and 50cc engines meantioned here 4-cycles?

Are any of these the Honda GHX-50 4-stroke? I was considering moving up to the Honda 49cc in a couple of months. My 80cc 2-stroke kit is a dog (that is fun to run with). Is the Honda worth the $350 (with shipping) I see on e-bay and then the $175 for the bike adapter kit?
