With the 48t, you'd need to do 6361 rpm to do 25 mph. Meaning you'd need performance mods to your engine for this to be your cruising speed.I have lots of hills too. I just keep wondering about the acceleration and torque advantages of the 48t, but mostly about what my rpms would be cruising at 20-25
I feel like it would make sense that with a slightly larger sprocket I could do 20-25 no problem with a crap ton of torque.
With mods that'll yield 8000 rpm, your top speed would be a little over 31 mph using a 48t sprocket.
