Sprockets N cogs

Hey Chainlube, is this what you meant when you said to weld both sprockets together on the spindle?

The outside one fits the shaft and the inside one drives the wheel? Is that correct? I would probably grind the teeth off the one that fits the shaft and weld the other one on top and then be able to secure the gear/gears with the clip, that way you're not totaling your trans. It's still reversible then.

Do you think that jb weld would work instead

This will be a very high torque area, therefore JB Weld most certainly won't work. Another option would be to contact Station Inc. If David doesn't have what you need he can make it for you. He could probable even make you a keyed shaft for the reduction box which would then allow multiple options for the drive sprocket.

LR, I think any competent local machinist can make that keyed shaft.
The shaft is probably secured with 2 snaprings. Disassemble and bring the shaft to the shop.
