I have been using a new springer on my Jaguar for about 2weeks now, and cannot get rid of the squeaking (sounds like a flock of birds !)
I have been searching the net for a couple days and still can't find any helpful info
I did put locktite on the main bolt, and have been checking for any movement...none so far (approx 250-300 miles)
the action of the forks is a huge improvement over rigid forks...but the noise is driving me crazy

This is crazy to even reply like this but have you tried oil?
Of course you have. Now how about grease?
Take it apart and see where the squeaking is coming from. I bet it's not from the spring itself but rather from where the springer arms connect down lower.
I would grab a spray can of liquified grease from Lowes and just get it to her till the squeak goes away.
