Hey pedalless.
That's a bit of a rough call and a rough label to slap on Rich (210061741).
Thinking about it again, it's a very rough and unfair call on Rich.
At the end of the day, he was improving a very low quality Chinese product, which in the end will make it a much more reliable engine.
If you read Rich's comment on the stage 2 and stage 3 engines, there will need to be a pre sale approval process to prevent these engines getting into the hands of young and stupid riders.
Rich and Pirate cycles are putting steps in place to limit their potential sales of these higher performance (i.e. more reliable) engines to prevent irresponsible use.
Regardless of your personal perception, Rich has educated himself with a degree in mechanical engineering, and considering his financial situation, it's a fine intellectual improvement on what i have, and something i respect considering that with my circumstances, i should have at least Rich's level of education.
In my case i've totally failed to apply myself, and given my better circumstances, it's tragic that i haven't done so, mainly because i'm lazy to apply and commit myself to long term education.
Pedalless, i am not affiliated with Rich or Pirate cycles in any way (i live in Australia) but can you please apologise to Rich for your comments.
I feel strongly enough about your comments to speak up.
Kind regards
Fabian
