Stage 2 Video 47.5 Mph Top Speed

Hey pedalless.

That's a bit of a rough call and a rough label to slap on Rich (210061741).

Thinking about it again, it's a very rough and unfair call on Rich.
At the end of the day, he was improving a very low quality Chinese product, which in the end will make it a much more reliable engine.

If you read Rich's comment on the stage 2 and stage 3 engines, there will need to be a pre sale approval process to prevent these engines getting into the hands of young and stupid riders.

Rich and Pirate cycles are putting steps in place to limit their potential sales of these higher performance (i.e. more reliable) engines to prevent irresponsible use.

Regardless of your personal perception, Rich has educated himself with a degree in mechanical engineering, and considering his financial situation, it's a fine intellectual improvement on what i have, and something i respect considering that with my circumstances, i should have at least Rich's level of education.
In my case i've totally failed to apply myself, and given my better circumstances, it's tragic that i haven't done so, mainly because i'm lazy to apply and commit myself to long term education.

Pedalless, i am not affiliated with Rich or Pirate cycles in any way (i live in Australia) but can you please apologise to Rich for your comments.
I feel strongly enough about your comments to speak up.

Kind regards

Fabian

Fabian

Thank you very much for your kind words.

NOW LETS TALK ABOUT MY LOSSES.
----------------------------------------------

If anything this shows my pure dedication to motorized bicycles and exactlly what i have put on the line to bring this project to reality.

NOW LETS TALK ABOUT THE REAL DEAL HERE
------------------------------------------------
Negative attention i suppose i cant argue that fact but in light that nothing negative has occoured it is unfounded.
Actually the people of my city love me and support the things i'm doing.
The police don't harass us either and i obey the traffic laws.
My high speed runs were on roadways marked with that speed limit.

As fas as being BRIGHT.....Dude i am a GENIUS......
As my wife would say....a Genius lacking common sense at times...

Really i have common sense but i also have a different way of thinking about things.
Those who dont conform to what is classifyed as NORMAL are allways scrutinized.
But normal is BORING and i live life to the fullest.
Never know when you gonna have a heart attack and fall over.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
YOU SHOULD BE CAREFUL MAKING ASSUMPTIONS.

So what is the legal justification here????
As you know we have our own forum.
We are dedicated to working with WWW.MOTOREDBIKES.COM and we are also tying off with http://www.motorizedbicycleracing.com/.

But you didn't know that did ya....oops.

SO IT SEEMS WE HAVE A VERY GOOD REASON TO BUILD A RACIN ENGINE BUCKKO.

Seeing how we are starting our own sport.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOW LETS TALK ABOUT WHY I AM SO DEDICATED TO THIS PROJECT.

Obviously we are planning on making a few bucks off this engine.
But not for personal pleasure thats 4 sure.
To finance a project that will change the motorbicycling world forever.

Take a look.

http://www.fishertechnologies.net/

YYYYeeeeeesssssaaaaaa.

They have at least a dozen pattens on this technology allready.

And guess what............

We have exclusive permission to build bicycle engines using it.
In fact they are building a prototype bicycle engine right now for me !!

100MPG in a car.

GEE i wonder how many MPG were gonna get on a bike.

So when i have the STAGE 4 ENGINE.
100% USA MADE and EPA BACKED ...........what u gonna say then.

So it seems you failed to understand the true intent of this project.

Cause you make too many ASSUMPTIONS buckko.

anyway you have yourself a fine day.....whos the bright one now smart guy.

Not to be a party pooper, but if this company (Fisher Technologies) is "building a prototype bicycle engine" using this patend technology for you, what do they need you for?

Ignore him Rich. He's tough on paper but anonymous. Won't post anything on his user profile about himself or even where he lives. A coward that can type LOL.

Hey pedalless

Seriously, you need to review the way you place your views on motored bikes.
It doesn't take much intelligence to spew out a resentful and defamatory comments.
I for one, would be in the group to purchase a newly designed and optimised bicycle engine, and not because i want to travel at recklessly fast speeds on a motored bicycle.

As you know, the standard engines are substandard in their build quality and also their reliability.

pedalless, can you honestly tell me that you wouldn't want an engine with mechanical updates to improve overall running efficiency.

The program Rich, together with Pirate Cycles has embarked on is desperately required for those who use a motorised bicycle as their only means of transport, such as myself when i lost my car license for a period of 3 months due to the nature of my job.

I was approximately going through one engine every 700 kilometers, with the big end connecting rod bearing failing every time - bad manufacturing defect.

Do i want more power - yes i do, but not for high speed.
I want more power in a reliable engine to improve my average speed.
25 miles an hour on the flat and 25 miles an hour going up hills, instead of the 5 to 8 miles an hour that a standard engine is capable of when pushing the bike up steep gradients.
Travelling at 5 miles an hour for sections of your journey really hurts overall trip times.

I say again. (and with conviction)
pedalless, please apologise to Rich for your aggressive and defamatory; injurious and slanderous comments.

I just want the power so I can get decent hill climbing capability. Living at 6800 feet, I'm loosing 21% power due to altitude. I hope a Stage III kit gives some of it back so I can ride without having to pedal some of the steep Colorado trails.

I still say take that motor and throw a shift kit on it and look out! I'd be happy to try the prototype LOL!

The power band is so narrow on these things, gears help so much!

I am still amazed with the results as-is!

Thanks again guys for all your support.

For those of you looking for power over speed i would reccomend a bigger gear.
I currently run a 36T and have alot of pulling power.
If you went up to a 44 or 50T i couldn't forsee any hill climbing problems.

In fact i would expect to actually gain speed going up hill.
FlyBYTaco runs the larger gears. I believe he even has a 54T.

Last i knew with the large sprocket he was riding wheelies pretty easily.

I will make it a point to find some of the largest hills i can and do some test climbing with my 36T.

It'll give me a break from the speed aspect and get some video together for those more interested in the Torque aspect.

I have never had a shift kit however i would very much like one.
If i took the engine and narrowed the powerband i could produce more power at lower rpm which would be ideal for a shif kit situation.

I will make it a point to get out this weekend and tackle those tough hills.

I will say though.........For thoose that feel they should be getting more form there kit then they are..... U probably can.

The Carbs don't seem to be tuned perfectly stock.
It can get tricky to get it perfect.

From all my testing i will say the carb can make or break you.

Just because it runs good and the plug is tan colored dosen't mean it cant be better.

I notice the most substancial power gain when going from a carb that is tuned good and a carb that is tuned perfect.

Put some time into that carb.

Have fun.

Riding Rich
