Stalls at stop signs

Good question. I've found with a near vertical empty fuel line and filter once the fuel is opened there is always air trapped in the filter.
One would think that it would be completely full with no air left at all, with the tank vented but still the air won't all leave. This shouldn't occur. That's why I put a gentle suction to it, and it seems to work to completely evacuate all the air.
Perhaps my tanks aren't as well vented as I think they are ?
There is always what looks to be air in the fuel of lines any of these bikes I have built when they are just sitting still, it's only when you throttle up that you would observe it being full up.

Good morning y'all well I finally caught the bird my cat gifted me ( first of many to come I'm sure) and got to my bike,I replaced the magneto side crank seal which had been leaking and will be taking it for a test ride shortly, once again thank you all for your expertise and support when ever not only myself but all, rookie to veteran riders who are in need !!!👍🙂 Update to follow

Well y'all here is promised update, replaced mag side seal went well until it didn't. Reassembled , went for test ride would not run at all without full choke, I presume that I somehow screwed the pooch on the seal install. Frustrated I put said bike in garage until saner minds prevailed, sanity has returned I am sadly disassembling my repair to find out what the f#%k happened....... more than likely operator error will rear it's ugly head, that said onward into the fray...........

Did you put tape over the threads before you put the seal on the crank? Oil?

Sharp threads will booger a brand new seal when you push the crankshaft thru the hole or push the seal over the crank threads.

It does not not take much to damage the part of the seal that seals the crank. The rubber is thin at that point.

I use a few wraps of Teflon tape on the threads and a some grease to slide it thru.

When there’s an air leak condition and I determine it’s definitively not anywhere else but a seal… I change em both.

Getting a crank to spin the output shafts true goes a long way to lessen seal issues.

Masking tape, "duck" tape, packing tape, wrap it tight and oil it and the seal slips right on.
