StarFire GenII GT 80 engine help???

Hey guys i am looking at getting another motorized bike. I'm thinking about getting the StarFire gen III Gt5 SUPER RAT is this a decent engine to get? i have a few questions to ask if that's ok..

1) This motor has a integral CDI straight from the solid state magneto if i wanted to upgrade the cdi would this still be possible?

2) The motor also has a fan built into the motor to cool down the magneto would this really make any difference? with my old motor i did go through 2 magnetos maybe they got to hot?

3) Finally do slant heads really make any difference in power or compression?

also are rock solid engines still makes engines or ?

I recall that fan being added because CDIs were overheating regularly - I don't know if the fan solves that problem.

the fan doesn't solve the problem, you have to drill vent holes in the CDI cover.

latest versions I've seen are made with holes at bottom of case

only newer one I have here grenaded the rod bearings so hard the cylinder cracked after about 2 months use, so I'd guess the CDI was still working at that point
