Just because the roller/spindle spins with the engine on idle doesn't necessarily mean anything. It might not have alot of traction though. You might wanna get a pair of gloves and gently try and hold the roller/spindle so it doesn't spin with the engine running on idle.

If you can hold the roller/spindle without it eating thru your gloves, it probably will be alright on your tire then, and wouldn't eat up your tire.

Bolts now come threaded from hex all the way to the end.

I'd rather have adjustable removable nuts on both ends.
