Still having trouble

Ok so my magneto was on backwards so i fixed that i also replaced my base gasket because it was about done.....and now it tries to start one time ......pops once and then nothing

Should we think through it slowly out loud? The magnet is good, is the magneto pickup good and spaced correctly from the magnet?

Yes spark is strong

This is gonna sound odd, do you have another CDI, because i once had strong spark but i swapped the cdi with a different one same model and then bike started don't know why but hey, worth a shot if you have a SPARE lying around

I do have the stock cdi i can swap it with the one im running now is the stage 2 bbr cdi that takes a key to turn on

i had trouble with the BBR CDIs gave spark but nothing, even had some that where wired backwards
