Hi,
Im pretty sure my pads are good but when i let the clutch out the plate just slips on the clutch pads.
I was wondering i could clean them with something, they seem a little glazed over? i replaced the plate because it was completely smooth
Do i have to replace pads

Good idea to replace them. Get the tan ones they have more grip. You could try adjusting flower nut. Once grease gets on them they’re ruined and you’ll probably make them worse by rubbing them they’ll crumble if you push too hard (the red ones).

Don't listen to the other guy. You can clean grease off of the pads with brake or carb cleaner. You can also lightly sand the pads but clean them first. While you're there adjust the clutch.

You can also tighten the preload on the main spring shaft by removing the cable guide and rotating wheel backwards while holding something against the notch on the shaft.
