I have a habitual nt carb problem. The choke is either too loose or too tight causing it to never fully disengage or sucking shut plz advise.
Is it an actual NT carb or is it a BoFeng carb...They look almost identical but you will find that the BoFeng has a spring loaded relief valve at the bottom of the float bowl as well as the carb tickler push button next to the idle adjustment screw to be totally absent from the carburetor body altogether.I have a habitual nt carb problem. I'll level with ya, i have both and it happen occasionally with either or should I say all 3. Speed included. Personally I don't see much difference between the 2 but sure maybe a newer one will be the way to go. As long as it's not an hp. If it were me, for $11.99 I would just replace it with a new JRL BoFeng from Amazon...The BoFeng is superior to the basic NT and is quite the bargain at that price.
It is also the stock carburetor that comes with the Phantom 85s.

I have a couple HP's on the shelf as well. They do look nice. They will make nice homes for the rough tough spiders that live here.I'll level with ya, i have both and it happen occasionally with either or should I say all 3. Speed included. Do you run a saw carb? I'm considering using one.Saw carb.
I got 2 stihl ms240s and I know they need a pulse hole... is that tough?Saw carb.
Takes some doing. Needs a pulse hole for fuel pump diaphragm and hose or something to attach...Do you run a saw carb? I'm considering using one.
You can just cap the pulse line barb if you use the gravity feed from your fuel tankTakes some doing. Needs a pulse hole for fuel pump diaphragm and hose or something to attach...
