Gentlemen. I'm thinking of mounting my engine on the back of the bike. I know this opens up my options for bikes.

I did some research, but the ones I have found are all sold out.

Are you wanting to go with a chain drive system or a friction drive system?

I want to keep with what I have. Skyhawk 53cc with 4g belt transmission.

Roughly how much does it weigh without the mounting plate? Might be able to make a modify a cheap rack. I'll try and find the mount stud measurements and look at some cheap racks.

I'm not sure on the weight. Maybe I can find some specs. BRB.

Apologies for the late reply. I removed the engine mount, and weighted the engine with the transmission, and exhaust pipe still attached. My scale said 20.6 pounds.

So 21 pounds.
