Well I got my tail light in last night and Ive been looking at my bike. I don't think I want to mount it on my fender itself, really screws up the lines of the bike. So I am thinking of mounting off to the side. Problem is I have a easier time mounting it to the right side of the bike by using the rear chain guard mount to hold not just the chain guard but to hold the mount as well for the tail light.

But I want to ask would it better to figure up a way to mount it on the left side of the bike? I probably could mount it off the chain tensioner bracket itself but I don't even know if I will be using it.

I also am thinking if I can find those drive chain guard adapters for use with the engine drive chain guard I might be able to use that to mount the light off of on the left side instead. But I just haven't been able to find those mounts.

there are bikes that have two rear reflectors on the chain stay - the mount for one of those might hold a tail light and be out of the way of chain and things for fixing flats

mine is mounted to the bottom of my seat. works fine for me. previously I had 2 of them (also acting as turn signals) mounted in saddlebags

I have to see how much room I have after I get my seat post. With me sitting the seat all the way down I don't think it would be visible over my rear fender.

This is the light I got. I don't know if I will use that bracket but I will get rid of the pinch bolt they supplied it with as there is no reason to have nearly 1/2" of threaded bolt sticking past the nut.

I am thinking right now of mounting it to my chain guard itself. But I have to find the chain guard mount for the engine drive chain as Zeda kits don't come with the chain guard.
