Hey everyone, I'm not sure if this the right place to post this but I saw some older posts on here about RAAM - the cross-country bike race - so I thought I'd give it a shot. Anyway there is a new documentary out about a 4-man relay team in their 60's, biking from Cali to Maryland trying to reclaim their record. Here is the trailer... http://www.team409.com

The RAAM fascinates me. It surprises me that it has never approached the popularity of other professional cycling events (like the Tour of Georgia, San Francisco Gran Prix, etc). The winners and participants never become household names, but suffer greatly to finish the RAAM.

Yes it doesn't seem to get very popular does it? It's been going on for quite some time but I had never heard of it until my fiancé's uncle asked her to help with the crew for their team.
