Today while coming home from work my exhaust pipe fell off. While I was trying to fix it a guy pulled over in his pickup and asked if I was OK. I said something like "these things are c**p" and he responded with "I know Ive got one". He even offered to give me a ride home.

Now I doubt if he is on this forum but thanks anyway to another MB rider. I ended up declining his offer as I always try to get home under my own power (have to finish the mission). Amazingly I almost got all the way home before the pipe fell off again.

I ended up having to retap the studs larger and restud the head.

To all of you out there dont forget to pass the karma on.

Should hold a lot better with larger studs.
I use locktite and lock washers.
Check them often just in case.
Think i would of taken the ride.
Always nice to meet another rider/builder.
On the same note would offer a ride too.
