hi. in the middle of first install. When I put the chain on it is hitting the rear tire (barely) . I'm mounting to a old GIANT mountain bike w/normal sized tires. Any idea's? Thanks!

flip the rear sproket around to where the it runs the chain out from the tire

If it barely touches the tire, don't sweat it. I used 1.80's with plenty of clearance, so you could always go down a size or so.

Watch flipping the sprocket as it will run the chain out of alignment...not real good.

Don't make the chain too tight- about 1/2-3/4" of freeplay at the tightest point.

Run the Chain

run the Chain Tight for the first mile or so. Then do what Bikeguy says... Thanks..Enjoy the ride..

I had to flip my Sprocket, I have size 1.9 tires and it works just fine. As far as the chain thing, I accidentally cut mine too short and could barely get the master link back on. But....once the chain streched out, which it definately will, it wound up being perfect  I am still rolling without the chain tensioner.
