My 1950 Whizzer Sportsman.....
Current record holder on the "Roller Road", current "Dirt Drag" winner [150 feet @ 40.3 MPH]. Last Dyno run yielded over 70 MPH with almost 10 HP on gasoline. Different clutch ratios used on "Dirt Drags", high speed runs.
Nicknamed "Wheelie Whizzer"
Will easily standup and drop you off the rear, and is automatic clutch belt drive.
Have all the vintage parts to restore to 1950 original, but just having too much fun setting records.
Current motor is a 1999 modified WC-1 motor with a 2005 NE cylinder.
Special camshaft from Raceway Products, Cylinder & valve work by Gerd Lowack. Cylinder porting, valve train modifications, special mushroom lifters, custom .010" copper head gasket, combustion chamber design & rework, exhaust sytem design, automatic clutch upgrade, modifed 26 MM carburetor, etc by Quenton [me].
Have fun,
Just After the War. Whizzer Motor kits were sent to West Germany using both US military and whizzer Factory Inventory's..
Sporting the Whizzer Name..The Germans took them apart and did the up grade fully Jeweled crank, and wrist pin rod bearings. This was also done with last runs of the US made 700 motors. I just wonder how it all went was it the Germans who showed the Americans how to do it..?
Notice the 4 link girder forks, and the really extra long wheel base,on this German Version Whizzer bike
I have only these two photos of this
one example
that sits in a window in Belgium
