Thinking of upgrading HS 4 transmission

Sure you can JS the 2-chain drive to the right and use the bikes gears, but that doesn't help the fact that hoot won't hold up long.
The dual chain has bearings for the shafts to ride in the cover, the single chain is the super crappy one commonly referred to as the hoot. Either one you gotta deal with chain stretch, but the true hoot wears out and the output shaft gets major play.

I think I got like 5 HS 142F-1G engines from gasbike years back, they came with that crappy hoot with 2 nonadjustable chains but the deal was a great price on the engines.
The bikes got Grubee 4G's ;-}
