And the flaky company with the 3 year warrantee who will not answer my emails gonna make out a complaint get a prorata money return.

Dude... get this kit. You'll love it. Check out my specs from today on my 36 tooth bike. This engine also spent months on a 56 tooth bike. Pure stock, no gadgets or upgrades of any sort. Down to the carb. -- it is a headless jug with a 2018 Pegasus stamped on it.

Recorded my commute data today:

Miles: 14.60 (I always thought it was 16. Now I need to take 3 miles a day off my total mileage)
Top Speed: 36 mph
Avg Speed: 29 mph including idle time
Trip time: 30:09 -- Moving/Idle: 29:17/00:52 On my BBR engine this trip would take me ~40 minutes

On a 36 tooth sprocket Cranbrook with disc brakes. I can tell I've never gone that fast before on this bike.

I got the older version of the Zeda triple 40 from their Amazon site.. one had bent mounting studs just rough handling and it wasn't from shipping so I'm disappointed in bicycle engines.com... probably order a couple more and do a swich around and get the new cylinder and no bent studs it was the 48T kit I ordered... Came assembled... So watch out for that...

Hey, I have a similar issue with my triple 40. I ordered from Gomax and when I was putting it on my bike I just kept trying to mount the motor straight but no matter what I do, the whole jug is visibly rotated a few degrees counter clockwise as you look at it from above. It runs ok, but I feel like it's not as fast as it should be. I took the jug off and sure as s**t, the stud holes are bored off axis a few degrees. Sloppy!

It wasn't a Zeda 80 triple 40 if you got it from Gomax then...Bicycle-engines.com is the only one in the U.S. that sells the Zeda 80 triple 40 through their own site as well as their Amzon partner relationship, as well as their Ebay site...What you wound up with was a typical Chinese knockoff of the Zeda triple 40...I mention this because you replied to this thread which last post before yours was 1 year 7 months ago and was referring to the genuine Zeda motors, not so-called triple 40s from other sites that can't or don't buy them from, ZTMoto, (Zeda Technology Co., LTD)
