I recently inherited an old bike with sturmey archer 3 speed and a Trojan mini-motor MkII in bits. I'm planning to get it up and running but leaving the whole thing in it's original rusty condition. I am a professional engineer and my main hobby interest is Volvo Amazons. I have a well equipped workshop and the skills to tackle restoration and re-conditioning of most parts.

I am a regular browser and sometimes contributor to Brickboard - a forum for Volvo enthusiasts.

rust is icky! i use naval jelly to take off rust. i rusted my tools last week by riding in the rain and then not taking them out to dry. why is it that allen wrenches rust so quickly?
