Did you see the CVT ran to a duel jackshaft sprocket on the bicycle he was showing a custom build adaptor? It's around 23:43 of the video; when he was talking building an intake adaptor.. This is the same thing I was talking about earlier in the year. This set up would be like an automatic varying ratio drive system.

Update: Photo #1: With the engine all the way to the front, the primary drive chain is just right with 1/8 -1/4" droop. You can also see the routing of cables to use the original carb connections for throttle and choke. The choke cable goes to a simple lever on the handlebar for ease of use on...
