Anyone know what size wrench I need in order to take out the head stem hex nut on a Huffy cruiser? I have an old mountain bike front end that has suspension that I want to put on.

I'd say a 12" open end adjustable wrench should do you good. (common name: Crescent wrench, after the company that made it popular)

You are aware that most suspension forks are 1 and 1/8th" steering tube dia and your huffy cruiser is only 1" and that the head tube length will vary as well right?
Most thread less headsets (good suspension forks) will not fit a threaded style frame without adaptor cups for the bearings if the head tube allows the steerer tube to fit it.

From what I've gathered the hex nuts are either..... 32mm (older bikes) or 36mm for 'newer' bikes. Just not sure what size my Huffy cruiser has. How do you measure it?
