So my throttle handle kept slipping the cable out of it and over time tore the cable up eventually ripping the lead bit off. i drive often and didnt want to wait for a new throttle assembly so i devised my own there was lots of cable slack so i shortened it down and attached it to an old break lever with the bolt from an old set of breaks the one that pinches the cable to the proper tension.it worked but occasionally stuck as the bolt sat outside of the levers housing to remedy this i used a hack saw and trimmed some of the aluminium housing away so that the bolt sat inside ill post a picture of it tommorow.the end result i enjoy this much more than the twist throttle its a tighter more controlled throttle response i have way more control of my speed and its comfortable.has anyone else made any type of trottle repairs/upgradeing that they find better than the twist throttle
