Throttle cable for 1989 yamaha Prebug

So I just got a new throttle cable for my scooter. It’s all installed. But I have no free play. I’ve adjusted the fitments all the way down. And still nothing. It’s word though, cause now I have about double the range to be able to pull my throttle but can’t get free play out of it.
