Don't ever think you are going to do something once and done. You have know idea how many times I've said, this time for sure, and it still took several more tries to get it even close.
Don't be discouraged, just keep messing with it, until you get it.
Moderators Note: This was originally posted as a new thread entitled, "My throttle is wide open with no input. Any ideas why?" Obviously just a post with the word "HELP" without reference to his intial throttle problem to go by is no help to anyone trying to help whatsoever, so I have merged these threads together.
Is the barrel slide groove lined up with the nub inside the round barrel slide housing on top of the carburetor...If that slide is not lined up with that protruding nub on the right hand side of that barrel slide housing, it will stick in open position and be non responsive to your throttle twisting...It must be able to glide and slide easily up and down...This could also be a part of all your throttle adjustment problems you have also had as well.
That barrel slide can only go into that compartment one way only.
