Ride early like 5am and be home around 10. Carry cold bottled water with ya. My handlebar bag carries 4 16oz bottles of cold water, used coke bottles. 2 are refrigerated and 2 are frozen solid to keep everything cold. By the time you sucked down the cold ones the ice ones will be melting to suck down.

I've always been a morning guy, but after 90+ weather for the last little while, it's pretty chilly when it's only 65 out. It was 68 this morning when I got up.

Fortunately here in the mountains ⛰ of Tennessee we seldom see temperatures in the 100's; heat index yes but seldom degree wise. Riding is fine but if possible I try to park my bike in the shade.
