Too much info......

I like the $45 bike I bought.
Just to have something to ride around the neighborhood at night cuz running every evening is too hard on my knees and ankles.

I see room for improvement on all these kits. Add higher cost of course.... But none of them are anything you can't fab yourself. Especially if you got a friend that has a CNC machine shop in his workshop...... And you can weld and braze
 
I think u need a quality, dependable bike first, with disc brakes.

My Diamondback was used when I bought it. It lasted over 10 years as a motorized bike, before I dismantled it.

Even tho I had drilled thru the top tube to mount my engine, the entire aluminum frame was still perfect.

I'd want a dependable engine, and that spells "Japanese".

To me the ideal MAB would be rear gas driven and front ebike with a battery with some capacity, like a 52v 19ah batt for range.
