Just take the nut off end and slip it off. Nothing else comes out, unless you don't want it to muffle any more. There should be enough gaps around the sides of the baffles to let the gunk run out.

Easier said than done...on the other two, the only way those suckers ever let loose was when i finally had to put it in a vise...they were on for keeps...hate to ruin the looks of the pipe and malform the end cap...lol...DAMIEN

Just loosen the nut and go for a ride, the engine will do the rest. LOL!
