Now what kinds of battery are you gonna power that with. I seen someone else using a rc car battery.

Couldn’t you just extend the wires your self?

DieselTech do consider an external battery it will keep the backlight running longer before it shuts off. The watch battery will only last so long.

I dont know if you can extend them or not, yes mountain80 I'm running a small 12volt battery just for the backlight feature. It looks bada$$ when it's all lit up with the lighting. Pretty sick.

Yes it looks good. I believe i ran inline small glass fuse for safety. Ill check in.a few days.

This is the one I use. Does temp, rpm,time and hour meter. Keeps max temp and rpms, you can set alarms for temp and rpm as well. Comes with its own changeable battery too and its cheap.
